【Abstract】 Before the First Sino-Japanese War, the Japanese Navy attached great importance to the collection of military intelligence about China.In 1889 and 1894,the warship Yamato and Akagi respectively observed the Chinese naval parade and detailed investigations were made on the infrastructure,fortifications,ship configuration,logistics and supply of ports along the coast of China. Especially in 1894 when Li Hongzhang reviewed the Chinese Navy,the warship Akagi made a field observation on the ending of the First Sino-Japanese War. This paper also analyze the training of Beiyang Navy from the Japanese archives and sums up the reasons why the Japanese Navy win the First Sino-Japanese War,which is a lesson can be learned from history.更多还原
