【Abstract】 The outcome of a war depends on both sides’ political,economic,military factors among others,so Sino-Japanese naval war’s failure resulted from the whole country’s malady instead of Beiyang navy alone.The research and knowledge about Beiyang navy and this war have become more comprehensive with the appearance of more historical materials,therefore,we should re-recognize the few things of which the navy was accused breaking their military discipline,such as hanging the laundry on the main artillery,keeping dogs in the warship,and watcher’s neglect of duty.更多还原
